Brian Underwood: The Rippln Facebook Page is for Information - Not Spam!

One of the queries Brian Underwood of Rippln gets repeatedly via email and online is how to go about recruiting new team members using Facebook. Rippln is all about recruiting new members, but if you are planning on spamming our official Facebook page, STOP. We know you are excited, and we do appreciate everyone doing everything they can to make Rippln an amazing success, but there is a time and place for recruitment and our Facebook Page is for information, not spam.
On our official Facebook page, we get a lot of questions, but they get buried in the recruiting spam! In order to keep communication as streamlined as possible, so we can both convey information to you and get feedback from you all, we need to keep the space from becoming become cluttered with requests to fill invites. This type of behavior means we spend man hours policing instead of  answering questions people may have.
This is about respecting our community space. We want everyone to succeed! We really do intend for everyone to benefit! What we ask is that everyone think of our official Facebook page as a information center. It is where we can keep you updated and you can let us know how you are doing. As team members of Rippln, we know you can understand this and help us out!
